Summary of supervision of establishments that deal with human bone tissue for human application
Summary of Report of the Norwegian Board of Health Supervision 7/2013
The Norwegian Board of Health Supervision has carried out supervision of establishments that have been granted authorization for dealing with human bone tissue for human application.
In 14 of 16 organizations, breaches of laws or regulations were detected. In some of the organizations several breaches were detected.
These breaches of laws or regulations were related to the following areas:
- Testing, assessment and selection of donors
- Traceability in the donation process and traceability of products and materials
- Storage of bone tissue.
